MediHub was born out of a collective passion for improving healthcare access for individuals in need. Recognizing the challenges people face when trying to find and connect with healthcare professionals, our team was inspired to create a solution that simplifies this process. We were motivated by the potential to bridge the gap between patients and doctors, making it easier for individuals to access the care they require promptly.
What it does
MediHub is a comprehensive platform that leverages the power of React, Express, MongoDB, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to empower patients in their healthcare journey. It provides a user-friendly interface for patients to effortlessly find doctors, schedule appointments, and access valuable mental health resources. Whether it's finding the right specialist or seeking mental health support, MediHub is designed to be a one-stop solution for healthcare needs.
How we built it
MediHub was meticulously crafted using a stack of cutting-edge technologies. We utilized React for the dynamic frontend, while Express and MongoDB served as the foundation for our robust backend. HTML and CSS ensured an intuitive and visually appealing user interface, while JavaScript added interactivity and functionality. Our development process involved iterative design, continuous testing, and seamless integration of components to create a seamless user experience.
Challenges we ran into
While building MediHub, we encountered several challenges that tested our skills and determination. One significant challenge was ensuring a smooth connection between the frontend and backend components of the application.
