MediGuide AI serves as a proof of concept for role-based safety gating. My development focus is to move beyond a standalone application and to establish a scalable 'Safety-by-Design' framework.
This framework aims to establish a standardized, modular foundation that both current and future AI platforms can utilize to mitigate systemic risks associated with AI implementation in healthcare. By integrating intelligent, role-based safety constraints, we can ensure that sensitive clinical data and decision-making logic are appropriately managed based on verified user identity.
I am treating this project as a proposal for the industry standards necessary to safely bridge the gap between AI and clinical practice—ensuring that innovation does not outpace the fundamental safety requirements of healthcare.
