Medify is an AI-powered platform designed to tackle one of the most dangerous but overlooked problems in healthcare—misdiagnosis and medical misinformation. Studies show that diagnostic errors affect up to 10–15% of medical cases and contribute to hundreds of thousands of deaths globally each year, including over 371,000 deaths and nearly 800,000 cases of serious harm annually in the U.S. alone. Medify allows users to input their symptoms, diagnoses, or medical claims they’ve seen online, and instantly verifies their accuracy using trusted medical data, flagging potential errors before they become life-threatening. Inspired by my mother’s experience—she was misdiagnosed with a heart problem, causing her deep pain and complications—Medify also lets users book consultations with certified doctors directly through the platform for further analysis and guidance. By combining AI-powered claim verification with real doctor access, Medify helps reduce preventable deaths, improve early diagnosis, and make safe, reliable healthcare more accessible—especially in underserved regions where misinformation and delayed care are more common.
