🩺 About MediConnect

🚀 What Inspired Us

India’s healthcare system is full of fragmented data, unstructured records, and limited access to trusted medical advice. We’ve all experienced the frustration of managing paper reports, getting overpriced treatment, and not knowing where to find affordable care. We wanted to solve this—to empower patients with control, clarity, and connectivity.

💡 What We Learned

  • How digital health infrastructure like ABDM (Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission) works
  • Importance of user consent and data security in healthcare applications
  • How to structure role-based apps and simulate secure data flows within a no-code/low-code platform like Bolt
  • Building real functionality while staying compliant with platform constraints

🛠️ How We Built It

  • Used Bolt.new as our primary development environment
  • Created role-based dashboards for Patients, Doctors, Hospital Admins, and Super Admins
  • Simulated consent-based sharing of health records using custom modals and logs
  • Designed mock features like second opinions, price comparison, medicine locator, and review system using Bolt tables and components
  • Embedded educational content and dashboards for patient empowerment
  • Maintained all logic and data flows within Bolt’s native environment

⚙️ Features

  • Secure PHR upload and sharing
  • Second-opinion request flow
  • Affordable medicine locator (mocked)
  • Verified doctor reviews
  • Consent manager simulation
  • Role-based dashboards
  • Admin analytics

🧗‍♂️ Challenges We Faced

  • Adapting a complex, multi-role healthcare system to work fully within Bolt’s UI and logic system
  • Simulating real-world features like OTP and biometric consent securely without actual APIs
  • Designing a flow that’s compliant with healthcare norms yet simple enough for Bolt’s architecture
  • Managing dynamic UI for different users and states in a no-code platform

MediConnect brings together healthcare access, transparency, and control—all built entirely on Bolt.
