MediCompare

Inspiration

MediCompare was inspired by the difficulty people face when comparing medicines, their prices, uses, and alternatives. We wanted to build a simple platform that makes this information easier to understand and compare.

What it does

MediCompare helps users search and compare medicines based on important information such as price, uses, alternatives, and other key details. It brings relevant information together in one easy-to-use platform.

How we built it

We built MediCompare using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and APIs for handling medicine-related data. We focused on creating a clean, responsive interface with simple navigation and an easy comparison experience.

Challenges we ran into

Our main challenges were organizing medicine data, handling API/data integration, and presenting healthcare information clearly without making the interface complicated. We also had to ensure the comparison process remained simple and user-friendly.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of creating a functional healthcare-focused platform that simplifies medicine comparison. We also successfully combined data handling, responsive UI design, and practical problem-solving into one project.

What we learned

We learned how to work with APIs and structured data, improve user experience, build responsive interfaces, and develop a solution around a real-world problem. The project also strengthened our teamwork and problem-solving skills.

What's next for MediCompare

We plan to expand MediCompare with more medicine data, improved price comparison, personalized recommendations, medicine reminders, nearby pharmacy information, and AI-powered assistance to make healthcare information more accessible.
