Inspiration
We were thinking about how technology can help people in daily lives and we noticed that people can forget but computers never don't. Then we planned to design a system that reminds to Alzheimer patients to take their pills if they forget.
What it does
When the patient needs to take his/her medicine, system gives warning until the patient takes his/her pills.
How I built it
We used light sensors to check if closed pill box has been opened or not. If the patient takes medicine light sensor is triggered and voice-light indicator stop.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
This was the first time I use arduino but I have managed to figure something out.
What I learned
I learnt how IoT and embedded projetcs works.
What's next for MediciReminder
When patient did not take pills on time we can send warning massage to mobile phone of someone who is responsible for patient.
