MEDICHAIN is a one stop solution to decrease medical errors and allows users to store all their medical data on a blockchain making it secure.

Understanding the problems

  • If a person is met with an accident , doctors take nearly an hour to collect the details of the patient like blood group and other things.
  • If the situation is serious they give some medicines or injections with the risk that the person or the patient may be allergic to those medicaments.. This type of risk is necessary to take for the survival.
  • There is a high risk of infection while testing .Our product is providing solution by eradicating this risk and also saving the time for testing and gathering information about the patient.

RELEVANT DATA

  • The study showed that during this follow-up, people with non-O blood group (A, B and AB), had, on average, 9% higher risk of death from a medical disease, and 15% higher risk of dying from cardiovascular disease.
  • A recent Johns Hopkins study claims more than 250,000 people in the U.S. die every year from medical errors. Other reports claim the numbers to be as high as 440,000.

OUR SOLUTION

  • Different accounts will be created for the customers along with the details of them like blood group, allergic medicines, past serious diseases and ongoing medicines.
  • We are introducing a card in which we will provide a QR code.
  • We will get the doctors from every hospital to register an create account on out website with their passwords.
  • If the customer by any chance met with an accident and when they are taken to the hospital, using that QR code given to them hospitals can find the details of the person by providing his or her fingerprint and doctor’s password.

Advantages

  • This will give idea to doctors about the current medicines that the person is taking and they can take care about the reactions their treatment can cause.
  • It will save the time for the patient and doctor can directly start the treatment.
  • For the security and integrity of the data we are using the technology of blockchain..
