Inspiration

Health is the most valuable asset we possess. But without access to our medical data, we are unable to take control of our own health. The Medicare platform empowers individuals to manage their medical data and share it with authorized authorities. By providing individuals with control over their health data, we can create a healthcare system that is more efficient, effective, and equitable.

What it does

This application takes patient documents and prescriptions and uploads it on chain, for the patients to own. This allows for easy access and sharing of the documents

How we built it

We built it using solidity and react, the solidity was used for the backend coding of the smart contract and react was used to build the frontend.

Challenges we ran into

The major challenge we ran into was linking the frontend and the backend, but this situation was later solved by lots and lots of googling and debugging. This was an amazing experience

What we learned

We learned a lot about Web3 and am very excited for the future where blockchain takes over the world

What's next for WellConnect

MediCare has potential to become the next big Medical owning and sharing application for the world, which allows doctors and patients alike to be connected and share information reliably and seamlessly
