Inspiration
It is easy to get tired and unmotivated. We want to create something that makes it easy to get access to motivations to keep us going.
What it does
Our application sends you a motivational quote to your number when you input your number.
How we built it
We created an api with base url https://medicmessageapi.onrender.com// using nodejs that connects to Twilio's sms Api. Our Api gets a number and a motivational quote from the front end we built with angular. After the back end gets the number and motivational quote, we send that number and the quote to Twilio to send the motivational quote to that number.
Challenges we ran into
We tried connecting with twilio using the front end framework Angular but it failed.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We were able to work with a new technology twilio.
What we learned
We learned how to connect with an service like twilio.
What's next for medicaller
We hope to be able to send motivational quotes not only through sms, but through whatsapp and voice calls.
