Inspiration Filing insurance claims is often tedious and error-prone for customers. We wanted to simplify this by building an AI-first, conversational experience using Salesforce Agentforce.

What it does It streamlines the insurance claim process end-to-end: verifies users, creates claims, extracts document data, checks policy coverage, and calculates payout—all via smart agent conversations.

How we built it We used Salesforce Agentforce with dual AI agents—InsureBuddy and ClaimEase. Custom actions, context variables, and document-aware LLM instructions powered automated decision-making and guided user flows.

Challenges we ran into Designing logical topic branching, extracting structured data from images accurately, handling multi-turn interactions, and ensuring context continuity across agents were the main challenges.

Accomplishments that we're proud of We achieved seamless agent-to-agent orchestration, precise claim calculations with dynamic policy interpretation, and intuitive user flows that demystify insurance jargon.

What we learned Agentforce is powerful for task-driven AI. We learned how important prompt design, action mapping, and context handling are to building trustworthy AI assistants in regulated domains.

What's next for Medical Insurance Claim and Coverage Assist We aim to extend support for multi-policy users, integrate real-time claim status tracking, and enable proactive coverage alerts using Data Cloud and background agent events.
