In many rural and disaster-affected areas of India, emergency medical supplies like life-saving medicines, vaccines, and blood components fail to reach patients on time due to heavy road traffic, poor infrastructure, or natural blockages. This project introduces a "Low-Cost Medical Delivery Drone" to solve this critical healthcare challenge. The system consists of a drone equipped with a lightweight, secure container (Medicine Box) to carry supplies. It utilizes GPS navigation and remote control systems to fly over traffic and rough terrains, delivering medical aid directly to remote clinics or patients in minutes. The prototype model for the presentation is highly economical, built using a basic toy drone, a lightweight thermocol/plastic box, and a mapped route. This innovation provides a fast, cost-effective, zero-emission (battery-operated), and life-saving alternative to traditional ambulance networks.
