AI Chatbots have information readily available and can quickly relay information to users. Moving with this, we want to utilize Gemini API to positively benefit the world and everyday people who use it. With MediBot, you can accessibly enter all of your symptoms, and MediBot will ask many important questions to diagnose your condition and given specific guidance and information necessary to you. We coded python and html into a web base program, and using Gemini API we incorporated MediBot. We then hosted all of the program on Vultr to have it accessible on the web. Google servers were experiencing high wait times due to this weekends hackathon, so we had to change versions of Gemini API until we found the right model and backups. We successfully used Gemini API and Vultr to see our completed project, and it is something we are proud of because it is out of our comfort zones. These powerful tools can be very useful when used for projects like this, and moving forward they are something we can use in the future to our benefit. We learned how to implement APIs and how important it can be when using different softwares. APIs enable programs to communicate and share data much easier, and take lots of strain off of development teams. MediBot is now fully assessable as an online web based application through Vultr, but currently the link needs to be shared and isn't able to just be looked up online. The next step would be to establish it in its own domain to be completely independent, and even more available to users around the world.
