The power of metadata can be leveraged to make better decisions about purchasing or scheduling the content on television or streaming platforms. This has a huge potential in saving costs, time and effort, along with generating huge revenues.
What it does
Metahub aggregates content metadata from various open sources and provides features facilitating recommendation and planning of contents to be featured on television or streaming platforms.
How we built it
The API fetchers are written in python and the results can be visualized using Dash plotly.
Challenges we ran into
Aggregation of data from various sources mapping to the same resource was a challenging task. Some of the API resources also have per day request limit leading to an incomplete final dataset.
