Help patients keep a reminder about the time of taking medicine
What it does
Gives a reminder in the form of an email to patients at the prescribed time of taking a medicine
How we built it
It is built with HTML+CSS at the frontend and Laravel at the backend alongside MySQL as the database. We also used mailtrap.io as the email testing platform.
Challenges we ran into
It was challenging to send an email at the prescribed time of medicine using queued jobs of Laravel.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
The accomplished task of sending emails to patients using queued jobs of Laravel is something to be proud of
What we learned
Learned to deal with database, queued jobs of Laravel, sending an email with the built-in feature of Laravel
What's next for Medi Manager
I hope to take it to the next level by styling it a bit user-friendly, using an actual mailing system like Gmail and adding some more plausible features
