Inspiration

Some of us suffer from chronic problems.
With the advent of COVID-19, it is difficult to tell when it is a common fluctuating condition and when there is a greater danger.
In connection with restrictions, the psyche is also deteriorating, depression is increasing, and more frequent suicide attempts are appearing.
Many people around us grope and do not know when is right time to search for help.
The same situation are solving milions people around the world.

What MEDI-LOG does

We bring a web application for the voluntary preventative keeping of personal logs on the progression of any disease.

This easy web application can be provide for millions users across the world in a very short time.
The user records data from the first small manifestations – alone, for oneself, anonymously.
In the event of a false alert, the user stops logging data and moves on.
If, however, symptoms progress, the log provides a useful basis for quick online consultation with a doctor.
The user can grant access to the log easily and with full control.
The user can see when the recipient last looked at the log and can revoke access to it at any time.

Challenges we ran into

We have functional prototype, almost ready for releasing.

What we need the most is to simplify the panel of new record. We need keep focus on maximum 4-5 symptoms, and do it se easy and fast as possible. In inserted picture you can find out some example how to do it.
During pilot operation we want to continue on improving UI and UX, to minimise barriers. Now, we are searching for help and partnership in promotion of application.
To ensure starting funds for hosting, to be able to provide access for all who needs, for free.

The solution’s impact on the crisis

Application:

Thanks to the possibility of full anonymity, it removes fear of storing information which are sensitive.
It allows immediate mass management of personal records.
It brings improvements to the decision-making basis of each potentially infected person.
It simplifies online consultations and increases the speed and accuracy of communication.
It allows to view real-time statistics on which symptoms or combinations of symptoms are currently on the rise in which region.

Thanks to this:

Participating persons can enjoy better feedback on their own health.
Potential patients can communicate quicker and more productively with doctors.
Health officers have real-time statistics of symptoms.

The value of solution after the crisis

The application is useful for logging data on any symptom of any disease. It is therefore useful in the long-term for

any future epidemic or pandemic, which can also help reveal
psychological ailments as a side effect not only of epidemics, but also of other crises,
civilization diseases or
personal health issues (allergies, gynaecology, dermatology, etc.).

The adoption of the application by a greater number of people

will strengthen systematic focus on individuals' own health,
remove concerns about being included in statistics, and
promote digitization and makes healthcare more effective.

additional value we plan as a doctors profesional plug-in to collect consultancy request and see the clients records by more comfortable way. Plug-in for access to user sent data can be used in other medical record systems.
we hope in implementation specific clone of system as a white label to specialised clinics for surgery or rehabilitation processes.

What's next for MEDI-LOG

Now, we want to finish a pilot and release the system in 4 central European countries. There we have partners and friends for translation and promotion. We are search for partners to make the impact of solution wider (partner for promotion, business model searching, funding of start).
