Medi Fuel Saver

✨ Inspiration

My inspiration lies in the power of innovation to transform healthcare logistics. Medi Fuel Saver project is developed to revolutionize medical sample delivery system. This project devise a smarter, more efficient system that ensures timely and safe transportation of vital samples, leveraging technology and collaboration.

🚀 What it does

Medi Fuel Saver project suggest ways to optimize the transport of medical samples from doctors' offices to Southampton General Hospital through various strategies like implementing route and vehicle management.

🔨 How I built it

I used Canva for making presentation and used Canva elements for illustrations. I gathered data for map from datasets provided by hackathon organizers. I used Google and ChatGPT for general assumptions taken in calculation of fuel saved.

🤔 Challenges we ran into

It was quite a tough task to analyze the datasets given by hackathon organizers. I had to check datasets and then plot a city map, which was very time-consuming. I have calculated fuel consumption for both ambulances and bikes by collecting data from Google and ChatGPT. I focused much on real life application of my project and tried to show that how effective it is.

🎓 What I learned

I learned about medical sample delivery system. I learned about vehicle management and how much effective it will be if we plan right vehicle for sample delivery.

🚀 What's next for Medi Fuel Saver

Make a full-fledged application, implement a tracking system that allows real-time monitoring of sample transport. Integrate geospatial mapping technology to visualize pickup and delivery points, traffic conditions, and optimal routes. We can develop an algorithm that can intelligently combine multiple sample deliveries based on proximity and time constraints. Utilize machine learning to continuously improve the routing algorithm based on feedback, traffic patterns, and changing sample delivery requirements.
