Helping elderly people and working with the voice technology to bring that change
What it does
It gives advice to the elderly people with their medical symptoms based on the data and API from AXA as well other external data. It in turns helps them to book an appointment for them with the doctor and also put a note about it in the Alexa application.
How we built it
Using AWS and Alexa Toolkit we build the voice-bot using the data provided by AXA. We also integrated with different integrations such as Alexa application, Google Calendar, Google Maps.
Challenges we ran into
Apple integration was difficult due to its restriction.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Completing the MVP project and not giving up on the idea.
What we learned
Integrations with external services kill a lot of time :(:(
What's next for Medi Buddy
More advanced voice bot that assists in a lot of day to day activities.
