What a hassle it is to get sick while on vacation. You're supposed to be having fun and here you are suffering from a cold. All you need is some simple medicine. But how and where do you find them? We aim to help with that. Inspired by this problem that happens almost on a daily basis, we want to create and application that can relieve the burden of having to find medicine while on vacation.

What it does

Our app provides a general medical survey to help you diagnose your health problem. It also provides information on medicine and where to get them.

How we built it

We built the app using HTML, CSS and some Javascript. We also used Figma to give a better visual of representation of our final product.

Challenges we ran into

With a lack of experience in web development and time, we are unable to create the complex functions that can carry out the app's purpose. We also lack some funding in order to get a certain service running.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We did manage to create a functioning website that will resemble what we envision the final product to be like. We also worked as a team and managed to learn new things and how to collaborate better.

What we learned

We learned a lot regarding HTML, CSS, and also how to organize files, projects, and repositories. We also learnt new tools to aid with our teamwork.

What's next for Medfinder

With more time and effort after the hackathon, we hope to build the demo into a full-fledged website that can carry out our vision for the app. We will work on the backend, particularly the databases and API, and also polish the front end.
