Medelivery

Inspiration

During Covid, many people could not leave their house, or did not feel comfortable leaving their house, to pick up much needed medicine. Even as we're getting back to "normal" people still may have trouble going to pharmacies to pick up much needed medications due to a tight schedule, being to ill to do so, or still not being comfortable doing so. Medelivery will fix that, delivering those supplies to clients' doorstep, quickly and conveniently.

What it does

Medelivery is an app where users can put create a profile and order medicine to be delivered to their doors. The information in the profile will also be able to determine when the medicine they'd ordered may conflict with medication they're already taking.

How we built it

We prototyped it in Figma.

Challenges we ran into

As this was our first time using Figma, we ran into some challenges getting used to the software. Furthermore, do to time zone differences, we also sometimes had trouble finding a suitable time for everyone to meet up.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

For most of us, this was our first hackathon so we're really proud of getting through the hack.

What we learned

We learned a lot about making a pitch deck and using Figma.

What's next for Medelivery

We want to be able to connect with doctors and local pharmacies to allow patients to also receive prescription medicines conveniently.
