Medcycle

Inspiration

My grandmother lives away from me and has trouble finding where to buy her medicine and where to recycle them so to help her I created this website. I took this competition as an opportunity to make change in my grandmother's life.

What it does

It has buttons on the first page through which one can go to the medicine they want to know about. On the second page they will find a description of the medicine, places to buy the medicine and places to recycle the medicine. This website also informs the user of the side effects of the medicine.

How I built it

I used PHP and CSS in Visual Studio Code. The CSS was made by me for another project but everything else was made during the competition.

Challenges we ran into

alignment of images and text were a problem and some bugs were frustrating but it worked out in the end.

Accomplishments that I am proud of

The clean look of the website and how easy it is for the user to use the website.

What we learned

Some new ways of image alignment and how some bugs can be fixed.

What's next for Medcycle

I want to use AI to help make the process automated and by using databases expand this website to incorporate more medicines.
