MedClinic-AI
Inspiration
The inspiration for MedClinic-AI came from the problem that many people cannot quickly access medical help, especially during emergencies or in rural areas. We wanted to build a system that helps people check their symptoms, consult doctors, and access healthcare services easily from home using technology.
What it does
MedClinic-AI is an AI-powered healthcare platform that helps users analyze symptoms and get basic medical guidance. It allows users to find nearby hospitals, book ambulances, consult doctors online, and order medicines. The system can also analyze lab reports and provide chatbot support for quick assistance.
How we built it
We built the front-end using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to create a simple and user-friendly interface. The backend was developed using Python, and MongoDB was used to store user data, medical information, and consultation records. Different modules such as symptom analysis, hospital search, and medicine ordering were integrated into one platform.
Challenges we ran into
One challenge was integrating multiple healthcare features into one system while keeping it easy for users to understand. Managing medical data and connecting features like symptom analysis and doctor consultation also required careful design and testing.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud that we created a platform that brings multiple healthcare services into a single system. The project shows how AI and web technologies can help people access medical support quickly and easily from home.
What we learned
Through this project, we learned how to build a full-stack web application and integrate different technologies like Python, JavaScript, and MongoDB. We also improved our problem-solving skills and learned how to design systems that solve real-world problems.
What's next for MedClinic-AI
In the future, we plan to improve the AI diagnosis system, add real-time doctor video consultation, and integrate wearable health device data. We also aim to enhance accuracy and make the platform more accessible for users in remote areas.
