What it does

Medicare is a Secured Online Medical Appointments Booking System Powered by Pangea Security API.

It allows Patients to securely Schedule and book online Medical Appointments with Doctors/Medical Teams. The Patients Medical details are store and query to and from Pangea Vaults.

Patients can also attach and share her Medical Files to Doctors/Medical Teams. This File are securely scanned by Pangea File Intel Services against malware, ransomware, trojan horses, spyware, adware etc. before being Shared to Medical Teams..

Within the applications, When Patients Books Appointments, Doctors in turn will review/access all Patients Medical Appointments Data and Files.

Doctors can then approve and manage medical appointments with Patients.
Doctors can Connects and interacts with Patients via Email Messaging from the app.
Doctors/Medical Team can write Medical Diagnosis/Findings about Patients sickness and can also Prescribe drugs to Patients with all Medical records sent and query to and from Pangea Security Cloud System.

Patients - Doctors Medical Data Made Secured with Pangea

1.) Authn API: Doctors and Patients Signup and Login data are stored in Pangea Cloud via Authn Services. Thus the application leverages Pangea's AuthN service to provide Users Creations, signup and login authentication, protecting Users Medical Data.

2.) Pangea File Intel: Whenever Patients wants to share medical files to Medical Teams, the application automatically leverages Pangea File Intel Services to scan Patients Medical Files against malware, ransomware, trojan horses, spyware, adware etc. before being Shared to Medical Teams..

3.) Vault API:

A.) When Doctors or Patients Signup within our application, His/Her MFA Security Question and Answer are stored in Pangea Vault and they are validated and checked during users login to provide Multi-Factor Authentication(MFA) to help eliminate Phishing Attack and Guarantee User that He/She is accessing the right Site.

B.) When Patients Books Appointments, His/Her Medical Details are stored in Pangea Vault Cloud for Doctors Access.

C.) When Doctor/Medical Team Writes Diagnosis/Findings on Patients aliments and Prescribe Drugs, all Data are stored in Pangea Vaults for Patients and Doctors access.

Finally, the Pangea Vaults help to secure and protect users medical data against unauthorized access in the event of Web Attack as all data are sent and query directly to and from Pangea Secured Vault System.

4.) AuditLog API: Our app utilizes Secured Audit Log to create tamper-proof log for tracking and logs of all the activities going on within the System.

It Protects Users Medical Data from both Insider and Outsider Threats. Within the application, it tracks and logs events of:

A.) Any User who signup within the Application
b.) Any User who login into the application.
c.) any Patients that books Appointments.
d.) Any Doctors/Medical Team who approves Patients Appointments.
e.) any Doctors/Medical Team who deletes Patients medical records from Pangea Vaults.
f.) any doctors who views and access any Patients Medical records.
g.) any doctors/Medical Team who Writes Medical Diagnosis Results or Prescribe drugs for Patients and much more...

5.)Embargo API: Our Application leverages Pangea's Embargo service, to automatically detect if the User Accessing the online Medical Site is from Country found in Embargo List. If Found in Embargo List, Access to the Medical Online Services will be denied. Consequently, If not found in Embargo List, Access will be granted.

This Embargo Services help Healthcare application to automatically detect and block malicious activities. Note: You can always Enable or Disable the Embargo Services within our apps source-code settings.php file.
When Set to 1, it means Enable. when set to 0 it means disable.

6.)IP Intel API: Most of Bots traffic that attacks health Care System originates from VPN, Proxy Network. Cyber Criminals who also attacks Healthcare System to Steal Sensitive Information's also hide themselves behind Proxy or VPN.

Our Application leverages Pangea's IP Intel service, to automatically detect if the User Accessing the online Medical Site is from VPN ,PROXY Network etc. If Found , Access to the Medical Online Services will be denied. Consequently, If not found in Proxy, VPN network , Access will be granted.

This IP Intel Services help our Healthcare application to automatically detect and block malicious activities from Bots and Cyber-Criminals who hides behind Proxy or VPN Networks.

7.)User Intel API: 75% of Data Breaches and Compromise to Healthcare Industries by Cyber-Criminals involves stealing of Patients Sensitive Information's.

This is breaches is due to Users using a Personally Identifiable informations(PII) which been compromised before.

In our Application, we leverage User Intel API to check and Detect if Users Personally Identifiable informations(PII) has been found in breaches or not to help safeguard Users data.

Here is how we did that in our application:

A.) When Doctor or Patients wants to signup within our Application, the app automatically check and verify if users Personally Identifiable informations(PII) such as Email Address, Phone Numbers etc. has been compromised in breaches.

If any of the user (PII) data is Found in Breaches, our app will automatically stop the user from registering with our healthcare system and will request the User to signup with secured and un-compromised Email Address, Phone Numbers etc..

Consquently, If any of the user (PII) data is not Found in Breaches, User will be allowed to Signup.

B.) When Doctor or Patients wants to login within our Application, the app will periodically check and verify if users registered Personally Identifiable information (PII) such as Email Address has been compromised in breaches before allowing Pangea Authn login process to proceed. Upon Login, User are required to answer their Security Question as a 2-Way Factor authentication before finally logged into the healthcare System...

8.) URL Intel: Every-time User visits our Site, our app leverages Pangea URL Intelligence Services to display to users every detail information's or behavior about the Site URL.

It tells the user if the Site is Non-Malicious, Suspicious or Malicious. If the Site is Secured and Non Malicious, Users will be allowed to access our Online Medical Appointments Booking Services.

This Pangea URL Behavior security Check tends to create peace of mind to users accessing our application and thus guarantees them that they are on a safe site protected by Pangea Security Intelligence.
