RentRover

RentRover was inspired by the idea of helping vehicle owners earn from their idle vehicles while giving users an easy way to find and rent vehicles for short-term needs. Built using Flutter, Dart and Firebase, RentRover enables vehicle listing, location-based discovery, user authentication, and direct communication between owners and renters. We faced challenges in database optimization, real-time communication, performance, and building trust between users. We’re proud to have launched RentRover on the Google Play Store, reaching 8,000+ downloads and 400+ clients. Through this journey, we learned valuable lessons in product development, user experience, cloud infrastructure, scalability, and building a real-world startup product. Next, we aim to introduce digital payments, smart tracking, enhanced safety and verification, ratings, business solutions, and expand RentRover to more cities across India.
