We were inspired by real-life healthcare gaps where patients forget medical history and doctors lack previous treatment records. This disconnect often leads to repeated tests and delayed diagnosis

What it does

MedAura is a smart medical profile and doctor interaction app that: Stores complete digital medical history Allows doctors to log treatments and diagnoses Provides AI-based symptom analysis Lists doctors with specialization, ratings, and availability Enables patient feedback and structured treatment tracking

How we built it

Frontend: Responsive UI with patient & doctor dashboards Backend: Node.js + Express REST APIs Database: Structured storage for profiles, logs, ratings AI Module: Symptom-based suggestion system with emergency alerts Authentication: Role-based login for patients and doctors

Challenges we ran into

Designing flexible data models for different medical specializations Ensuring security for sensitive health data Making AI suggestions helpful but not misleading Creating a simple workflow without overwhelming users
