Inspiration

• The inspiration came from a deeply personal realisation : in medical emergencies every second counts yet most people freeze because they dont know what to do .I have witnessed situations where bystanders wanted to help during emergencies but hesitated due to lack of knowledge. • i realised that while emergency services are just a call away those crucial first few minutes before help arrives are most critical. thats when MedAssist Emergency was born- to transform anyone into a confident first responder with professional grade guidance at their fingertips

What it does

• MedAssist Emergency provides dynamic, voice-guided assistance that adapts to your pace and keeps you calm under pressure. The app doesn't just show you what to do—it takes you through it like having a medical professional right beside you. • Built for real emergencies where your hands are busy, your stress is high, and you need clear, confident guidance potentially save a life.there is audio guidance as well as voice commands available in my app where person can be hands off and can speak into the microphone instead of pressing buttons

How we built it

• As a non technical person i used AI and no code tools . i used AI platforms and crafted detiled prompts for features, medical accuracy and user experience. • I used bolt platform for visual develpment and bring AI concepts to life .i did medical research to get the emergency protocols • I described my needs in plain english and got actionable solutions . • I concentrated on what people need not technical complexity

Challenges we ran into

• ensuring life critical information follows current guidelines • creating interfaces usable during panic and poorlighting • balancing comprehensive guidance with ease of use • establishing credibility for life saving decisions

Accomplishments that we're proud of

• Its my first ever app • created an app that can literally save lives by turning anyone into a confident first responder • bridged the gap between emergency occurrence and professional help arrival • proved that you dont need a technical background to build meaningful technology that matters • Transformed complex medical procedures into simple step by step guidance accessible to everyone

What we learned

• I learnt how to effectively communicated with AI tools through strategic prompting • gained deep understanding of emergency medical protocols . CPR guidelines • How to research and validate life critical medical information from authoritive sources • Breaking down complex medical procedures into simple actionable steps • Iterative development - I was making , testing and continuously improving • The biggest lesson - you dont need to be a programme to build technologythat saves lives. you need to understand thevproblem deeply and leverage the right tools effectively

What's next for MedAssist Emergency

• i am planning to add multilanguage support to serve diverse communities • i am wondering if it could be available in offline mode- for areas with poor connectivity • i want to add a videodemonstration for CPR • Automatic local emergency number detection
