Inspiration

My journey from being unhealthy to embracing wellness inspired the creation of this project. I realized the importance of health amidst a busy lifestyle filled with work commitments and neglecting personal well-being. This realization motivated me to develop a solution that could help individuals like me prioritize their health even in demanding circumstances.

What it does

MedAI serves as a comprehensive health management platform. Our AI-powered medical agents analyze lab reports, provide timely medical advice, and track symptoms and calorie intake. Moreover, it incentivizes users to adopt healthier lifestyles by rewarding them with HealthCoins for their commitment to well-being. Our services include:

1) analyzing patient’s lab reports. They just need to upload a pdf file of their report. For example, by uploading a ferritin test, our agent can tell them whether they are suffering from iron deficiency or not.

2) Tracking patients’ symptoms. They can fill-out their daily symptoms and we show them a diagram of their symptoms ( severity level wrt date)

3) Tracking patients’ calories. While eating any food, they can upload its picture and our image classification model from ICP can tell them the Calories level( low, high, medium). They can also track their burnt calories by uploading a video of themselves while doing an exercise.

4) Talking to patients through phone or SMS and answering their questions about their lab reports anytime. This provides a fair and free access to medical supports for everyone. You can simply call/ message our agent: +1 (778) 200-8221.

5) We have med calendar, where patients can set their medication, injection, doctor appointment time and our AI agent will give them a reminder call.

6) We store patients’ lab analysis and give them healthCoin as a reward if they are committed to healthy life. We evaluate their health progress by comparing their lab reports. HealthCoin can be connected to ICP blockchain.

7) To track information about our users and do research on customer segment, we made a form with python/ html and connected it to Couchbase database. We used Couchbase RAG to get the information from their database and draw diagrams of our users occupation, age ranges, and how much money they would pay for our services.

How we built it

We constructed a user-friendly website and integrated it with a powerful AI model to analyze lab reports and address user queries. Leveraging image classification capabilities from ICP, we accurately identify low and high-calorie foods to enhance the precision of our medical advice. Additionally, we utilized Couchbase database to efficiently store and manage patient data.

Challenges we ran into

We faced challenges finding accessible locations for collaborative work. And connecting with a diverse range of users within a short timeframe posed a challenge.
