Inspiration
One of the team members has several younger siblings, some of whom she has witnessed struggle in emergency situations. Her concept was to expand on that notion and aid in the better preparation of younger children.
What it does
This app covers a wide range of first aid topics, including how to handle cuts and scrapes, burns, and allergic reactions, as well as guidance on how to respond to them.
How we built it
We built it using Webflow.
Challenges we ran into
We initially tried to code the app using HTML and CSS, but unfortunately, we weren't technically able to.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We were able to vision and app and see it through without giving up halfway due to lack of experience and technical knowledge.
What we learned
We have learned how to plan to build an app with others, by putting all minds together.
What's next for Med guide
We plan on gathering the technical skills required: HTML, CSS, JS. And upon acquiring them we plan on coding the app including the ideas we weren't able to in the initial mock up.
