Inspiration
Our inspiration came from the frustration and confusion of receiving individual blood test values but not knowing how to interpret them without spending hours online scouring multiple different websites.
What it does
MedCheck asks you for the blood test values you are curious about and returns an easy to understand summary of how your stats are compared to the population averages, and any potential health complications that may arise. It also gives advice on how you can get your blood test values to their ideal range. Achieve the body you never thought was possible!
How we built it
MedCheck was built using vanilla JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
Challenges we ran into
The virtual setting of this hackathon made it difficult to coordinate efforts at times, but we pulled through with the quickness and came out alive.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud that we actually got a site working that takes blood test values and gives accurate feedback.
What we learned
We learned how to make websites that are able to query users for information and return useful results from them.
What's next for Med Check
Make the results more interactive and engaging for the user (graphs, charts, etc.) and add more blood test values you can check .
