Inspiration Inspired by the UN's Sustainable Development Goal 3: "Ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages," we aim to provide accessible medical diagnostics to underserved communities through AI technology.
What it does Med AI enables users to upload images and describe their symptoms, which the AI then analyzes to provide a diagnosis and recommend treatments. This tool aims to empower individuals with limited access to healthcare by offering timely and accurate medical information.
How we built it We use ChatGPT-4 for generating medical diagnoses based on user input. For developing the front-end we use React.js and Next.js, and for the backend we used Express.js, Socket.io, MongoDB and Firebase.
What's next for Med AI Dataset Expansion: Increasing the dataset to improve model accuracy. Mobile App: Developing a mobile version for greater accessibility. Multilingual Support: Adding support for multiple languages. Partnerships: Collaborating with healthcare organizations and NGOs. Continuous Improvement: Regular updates to enhance diagnostic capabilities.
