Inspiration: We are both physics students who have encountered many challenges when solving physics problem. There were a lot of times when I didn't know what to do and stayed up all night because I couldn't figure out a physics problem. We want to minimize this problem for people and provide them with a website that has many useful resources on learning mechanical physics.

What it does: This project sends users to links that contain physics videos, simulations, and websites. They are all useful sources for users to get help on physics mechanics.

How we built it: We built our main page with Figma and the rest of it was made using HTML and Css.

Challenges we ran into: We ran into a lot of challenges. Since this was our first time using HTML and Css coding we weren't sure how to create columns to organize our topics nor how to add visuals. There were multiple times when our column template didn't show up and was formatted incorrectly. Another challenge that we faced was trying to figure out what to do our project on. We knew that we wanted to do a physics-related project that could help people, but we didn't know how to at first. This caused us to spend about 7 hours to brainstorm and plan before we started our project.

Accomplishments that we're proud of: We are so proud of having a functional website, learning HTML, Css, and Figma.

What we learned: We learned how to use new programming languages, HTML and CSS, researching skills, and how to manage time. This project was a great way for us to strengthen our coding, teamwork, and communication skills. When working we had to make sure that we always were communicating with each other so that we didn't lose any code or mess anything up.

What's next for Mechanics Buddy: In the future we want to expand from just mechanics. We want our website to include resources for more physics topics such as astrophysics, modern physics, electro-magnetism, and more! Another thing that we would like to do is add more graphics to our video and websites pages and add a physics help chat box. We would like to use this physics chatbox for users to ask questions and for the chatbox to pull up the specific content that answers the user's question.
