Mecca is an incentivized smart contract subchain & acts as a layer 2 multichain DeFi hub for Theta Metachain, utilizing PoS with Dapp Staking & Gas Rebates

Mecca rewards developers based on the value and impact of their dapp rather than their close association or connections to the capital. EVM & WASM Compatible: Mecca is fully EVM-compatible, enabling developers to iterate and innovate much faster using existing tooling and code from the Ethereum/Theta ecosystems. Mecca will also be compatible with WebAssembly in the future, a widely supported, high-performance standard that will likely serve as the foundation of decentralized systems development.
