It was funny. Also, the mean is very important.
What it does
The Mean Machine averages the numbers that it sees on the screen.
How we built it
We built it as a Chrome extension using JavaScript and HTML. Tested it by adding it as an extension to Chrome.
Challenges we ran into
Learning JavaScript. Also, it was hard to get it to read input values.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Getting it to also take the mean of input values and to highlight the numbers it finds. Also, the logo.
What we learned
We learned how to make a Chrome extension.
What's next for Mean Machine
It will calculate not just the mean, but the median and mode too. Maybe even generating a box plot.
