Inspiration
We wanted to create a simple tool that helps people match their ingredients to delicious recipes quickly.
What it does:
MealMatch generates smart grocery lists based on recipes you search for or ingredients you already have.
How we built it:
We used Node.js for the backend, Next.js for the frontend, and TheMealDB API for fetching recipe data.
Challenges we ran into:
We faced challenges integrating the API and ensuring the input from different components worked smoothly.
Accomplishments that we're proud of:
We’re proud of building a functional app that provides personalized grocery lists and meal suggestions.
What we learned:
We learned how to work efficiently as a team and improve our skills in API integration and state management.
What's next for MealMatch:
We plan to refine the user interface and enhance meal recommendations based on dietary preferences.
