We were inspired by the struggle for people to find healthy meals based on their tastes and diets
What it does
MealAssist is an app that coordinates user preferences and diets to suggest recipes for the user to select from, displaying nutritional information and sustainability information to help users make educated decisions about their meals with quick turn around

We achieved all of our goals and even got to a few bonuses on our schedule!
What we learned
We learned flutter development in order to produce a working mobile/desktop app that successfully integrates user uploaded recipes from a database to working information that can be easily found and shared based upon several heuristics
What's next for MealAssist
We want to add a stronger set of information relating to organic labels so consumers know what they are looking for, scan the ingredients to produce an estimated budget for dishes to help people eat well, but affordable, and finally integrate this with local products and stores to suggest different brands to buy based upon the customer's budget and an item's sustainability rating.
