Inspiration
We wanted to build something to help astronauts organize their daily life. We looked at what astronauts would be doing on a weekly basis.
What it does
This website allows the astronauts to track their meals, plan what they need to grow, the time left for their crops to grow, as well as their overall nutrition intake.
How we built it
We built the website in Svelte and Typescript.
Challenges we ran into
One of the biggest challenges that we ran into was that we had to make it unique from other existing meal tracking apps.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud of creating a feature in the website that can track the astronauts' plants and how they are growing.
What we learned
We learned different things. Olivier learned how to collaborate on a project and Jasmine learned how to upload to GitHub pages and use Svelte and Typescript.
What's next for Meal Planner
We would add more meals, beverages, and ingredients to the website as well as enhancing the plant growth tracking with plant health and growth indicators.
