What is Me Vocal? Me Vocal is a modern day smart phone application, which will allow residents of San Diego to report a problem or make a request for a service to city or county officials mainly using their iPhones/iPod Touch or iPad.
Uses of Me Vocal: Using Me Vocal from smart phones residents can easily and quickly accomplish simple tasks such as reporting broken street/traffic lights, potholes, graffiti's and request services that they need without getting on a personal computer.
Snap a picture with Location: Use smart phones built-in camera to snap a picture of broken street light or pothole and get the location of the incident with exact address using inbuilt GPS.
Auto Pothole: Turn on the Auto Pothole feature to automatically get the location of the pothole while driving on the city roads and send it to the city officials with click of a button.
News and Updates: Me Vocal lets you follow the news feed from San Diego City Mayors office and tweet your favorite news feed within the application itself.
Benefits of Me Vocal: Me Vocal establishes open communication between residents and city/county officials, hence its called “Me Vocal”. This gives City/County a chance to come closer to its residents by offering them a most convenient way to report their problems and requests. Me Vocal formats all the information as required by City of San Diego and transmits to the city/county officials via email.
