Inspiration
Uptick in events related transit disruptions in Chicago are frustrating to local transit users and make navigating the city very challenging for visitors with low-transit literacy. Current service interruption information on Ventra or Google Maps apps do not represent this information (or all applicable disruptions) in an accessible way.

Visualizes how your planned transit route might overlap with events that day.

What's next for McCormick Optimization
We would love to integrate considerations for non-point-based event disruptions, like the route of the Chicago Marathon.
