MBTI (Myers-Briggs) Personality Pop

Inspiration

As a psychology buff, I've always found personality psychology to be interesting and helpful. Thinking about what makes PartyRock unique (the ability to display multiple related outputs at once) I thought a nice application would be the ability to display your personality preferences and strengths all at once, organized neatly.

What it does

The app has 2 main features. The first helps you determine your MBTI type if you don't know it. You can also type in your type if you do know it. The second dimensionalizes your personality along 7 dimensions (relationships, careers, hobbies, professional preferences, communication, etc.) and gives you famous people with your personality type.

How we built it

Simple natural language coding.

Challenges we ran into

Getting the app to generate the right volume of output and figuring out categories that would be interesting, useful, and non-duplicative.
