My inspiration for creating this game was my favorite minigame in Mario Party 5. A game I used to play a lot when I was younger.

What it does

It's a VR game and also added keyboard inputs for web at the last minute. The goal for the player is to get to the center of the maze to win. Be careful of the walls that disappear and reappear you never know when you'll be trapped.

You can use google cardboard for this game because if you look at down at a certain angle you can move forward in that direction but if you look normally you will stop moving. In some points in the video you can tell when I'm moving in VR controls and when I'm simply moving with my keyboard inputs.

How I built it

C#, Unity

Challenges I ran into

Ran into issues regarding null pointers, negative scale, and rigid collisions.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

I was able to make a somewhat workable game that reminded me of my childhood.

What I learned

I learned how to use a lot of the tools in unity and enhanced my skill for C#.

What's next for MazedAndConfused

Fix the bugs and make it less laggy, Program a way to tell the player they won if they reach the middle.

Sorry about the video being laggy OBS issues and I couldn't deploy the game properly to the web html form.
