Inspiration

As someone who experienced the confusion of choosing a career path without proper guidance, I was inspired to create Maxuda: Empowering Futures. Witnessing the global disparities in educational opportunities, I aimed to bridge these gaps. My passion for educational empowerment and belief in the transformative power of technology led to this innovative solution. Maxuda is not just a project; it's a personal mission to provide every student with the guidance and support they need to succeed.

What it does

Our app aims to address several pressing challenges faced by students, particularly those in 9th , 10th, 11th and 12th grades, as well as individuals struggling to chart their future paths. One prominent issue is the pervasive confusion and lack of clarity surrounding career choices. Many students find themselves overwhelmed by the multitude of options available and lack proper guidance in navigating through this crucial decision-making process. Furthermore, access to reliable information about colleges, admissions procedures, and relevant resources often remains limited, leaving students feeling lost and ill-equipped to make well-informed choices. Additionally, the absence of direct connections with professionals in various fields deprives students of valuable insights into different careers, hindering their ability to envision their own future trajectories. In addition, a lot of students are reluctant to approach lecturers directly and ask for advice. To combat this, we'll also hold an anonymous question-and-answer session. By addressing these challenges through our app, we aim to empower students with the necessary tools, resources, and expert guidance to make informed decisions and embark on successful career paths.

How we built it

I built the working prototype of the project using Figma, creating interactive user interfaces and connecting slides seamlessly. By incorporating animations, I enhanced the user experience and demonstrated the app's functionality visually. This prototype serves as a tangible representation of our vision, showcasing the app's features and user flow effectively.

Challenges we ran into

Design Consistency: Ensuring uniformity in design within Figma's constraints. User Interaction: Simulating real-time features in a static environment. Animation Realism: Creating smooth, convincing animations. Feedback Interpretation: Interpreting user feedback from static prototypes.

What's next for Maxuda

While our team is passionate about implementing this idea, we must acknowledge that we currently do not have direct experience in bringing this specific concept to fruition on the ground. However, we are committed to learning and leveraging our expertise in relevant areas to ensure a successful implementation.
