Inspiration
We were inspired by traffic signals, a simple visual language that people instantly understand. We asked: what if the city could use that same simplicity to warn people about climate risks?
What it does
MAUSAMNAMA turns public screens into a visual climate-warning network. Colour-coded signals make risks visible, while local creators explain what the warning means and what people should do.
How we built it
SEE → UNDERSTAND → ACT
How we built it
We developed the brand identity, colour-coded warning system, public-screen applications, creator strategy, and prototype, all centred around simple, actionable communication.
Challenges we ran into
We found that colour-coded alerts and public warnings already exist. Our challenge was to make MAUSAMNAMA distinct. We solved this by connecting public screens, visual signals and creators into one communication system
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We transformed a simple idea into an integrated climate-preparedness system that connects official information with everyday public spaces and relatable communication.
What we learned
We learned that innovation isn’t always about inventing something new—it can be about connecting existing tools in a smarter way. Most importantly, awareness means little without action.
What's next for MAUSAMNAMA
We want to pilot MAUSAMNAMA on public screens during a real climate event, measure whether people understand and respond to the warnings, and eventually scale it across different hazards and cities.
