I was inspired to do this piece after having finished the TV show Daredevil, so when my 3D modeling professor gave us the assignment to make a 3D environment this was one of the first options that came to mind. I immediately began collecting dozens of references so I could accurately lay out the floor plan as closely as I could. I modeled dozens of objects for the scene, which lead to the biggest challenge, which was the couch and chairs due to having to learn about cloth simulations and making pillow shapes. I also designed each material in this scene procedurally using Blender nodes
