Inspiration

I have generally faced a lot of problems during my exam time for clearing some basic and intuitive doubts . Most of us face problems in understanding Phase diagrams of Material , Alloys and Multiple graphs from famous Stress vs Strain to Hardness and Durability Curves . Thus i descided to build some interesting tool which can clear our last minute doubts and provide a best explanation for our queries.

What it does

The MatriXpert Application currently offers two features:

1-)Solving Queries from Image Analysis Users can crop specific parts of an image and ask queries about those specific sections. Bot Assistant for Textual and Theoretical Doubts

2-)A chatbot designed to clarify textual concepts and theoretical questions. This version ensures proper grammar and readability.

How we built it

For User Interface i have used streamlit .

I have used Sambanova's API key from Sambonova Studio and used "Llama-3.2-11B-Vision-Instruct" for image analysis and getting response from it . For chat Assistant i have used openAIClient integrated via Sambanove api .

Challenges we ran into

There were multiple challenges we faced . 1-) Some minor issues during integration of API's . 2-) Brainstorming on some feature inclusion .

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I have completed the project and learnt a lot . I am proud that i have built something that can be used by my friends during exam time .

What we learned

I have learnt lot about Sambonova's Cloud . I have gone through their starter kits and learnt that we can build several production ready useful application within a short span of time .

What's next for MatriXpert

1-) I will use OpenCV and train a custom Microstructure dataset using ANN for more intense microstructure Analysis . 2-) Will create a RAG Model where we can generate specific answers from uploaded documents .
