Inspiration
MatrixMetrics came from a simple problem: people are under pressure, subscriptions keep draining money, contracts are hard to understand, and cancelling the wrong thing can create a bigger problem than keeping it.
Most tools only show numbers. Most contract services are too slow, expensive, or heavy for a first check. We wanted something faster: a plain-English scan that helps someone understand where money may be leaking, what looks risky, and what to check before making a rushed decision.
What problem we fix
MatrixMetrics helps people answer three urgent questions:
- What is quietly draining my money?
- What can I safely review or cancel?
- What contract or cancellation risk should I check before I act?
The project combines a money leak scan, budget pressure snapshot, and contract-risk review into one simple bundle. It does not try to replace financial, legal, or credit advice. It gives people a clearer first look before they make expensive mistakes.
What we built
We built a working front-door flow that takes a user from the landing page into a paid bundle, then into an upload/intake process, then through a local processing rail that creates a secure result-page link.
The result page confirms the submission, captures uploaded files, records the product, and gives the user a clean outcome page they can save, print, or receive by email.
What makes it useful
The value is speed and clarity. A user does not need to understand spreadsheets, contracts, or budgeting systems. They can upload what they have, explain the concern, and get a structured plain-English result path.
Challenges
The hardest part was not the landing page. The real challenge was wiring the full rail: payment, intake, upload capture, local agent processing, public result links, and delivery. We had to keep the system simple enough to launch quickly but structured enough to expand later.
What we learned
A good financial tool does not need to overwhelm people with complexity. It needs to reduce panic, show the next safest step, and avoid pretending to give advice it is not qualified to give.
What's next
Next we will improve automation, tighten email delivery, add clearer result categories, and expand the scanner into more consumer protection and financial decision-support tools.
