Inspiration
Many students find math repetitive and stressful. I wanted to create something that makes learning math feel more fun, colorful, and interactive instead of boring worksheets.
What it does
MathRush is an educational mental math game designed for students from Class 1 to Class 8.
Players can:
- Choose their class level
- Select a difficulty mode
- Solve math questions quickly
- Build combo streaks
- Improve speed and mental math skills
The game includes smooth animations, colorful UI effects, streak systems, timers, and multiple difficulty levels.
How I built it
I built MathRush using:
- HTML
- CSS
- JavaScript
The UI was designed with animated gradients, glassmorphism cards, transitions, floating effects, and responsive layouts.
Challenges I ran into
One of the hardest parts was designing every screen fit correctly without scrolling issues.
I also spent a lot of time improving the animations, balancing layouts, and making the game feel fun and polished.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
I’m proud that I turned a simple math game idea into a polished educational project with animations, streak systems, difficulty levels, and responsive design.
What I learned
During this project, I learned more about:
- CSS animations
- Responsive layouts
- UI design
- JavaScript game logic
- Screen transitions
- Project structure
What's next for MathRush
In the future, I want to add:
- Sound effects
- Multiplayer mode
- Leaderboards
- More question types
- Better mobile support
- Account saving system
