Inspiration

I love competitive math, and this app can help me and others practice and learn more.

What it does

This app improves your competitive math skills by using AI driven problem selection to give more problems in topics that you need to improve on. Each problem will be timed and be given an answer and a detailed solution.

How we built it

I built it with python, selenium for the scraper, and tkinter for the gui.

Challenges we ran into

Some challenges was scraping the problem and solution accurately, as well as classifying each problem to a topic (geometry, probability, number theory, etc.)

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I am proud that I got this app functioning within the time limit, and the AI gives accurate problems to help you improve.

What we learned

I learned a lot about web scraping as well as tkinter.

What's next for MathFit

I hope to add more features, such as a global ranking, contests, a discussion forum, and refurbish the AI to give more problems to help you improve.
