Mathbot

Inspiration

Inspired by Texas Instruments - they got us through the most complex equations and formulae, and we want to know how we can make it even intuitive for STEM lovers.

What it does

Currently a basic calculator - very simple functions.

How we built it

We build it using Java, SDK version 23.

Challenges we ran into

Time was definitely our largest constraint, as most of our IRL work was done in a school setting, and it was hard to predict when we would have any time available.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

The menu system, and the error handling present.

What we learned

How important it is to handle our available time efficiently, and how we can communicate more effectively in a team environment.

What's next for Mathbot

Adding in support for a library of formulae and equations, alongside a graphical interface, with more advanced features such as conversions.
