Inspiration
Math and programming skills are as important today as reading and writing became in the past. We wanted to make it easy, rewarding, and fun for kids to learn math and programming.
What it does
You program the robot to move around the screen and solves puzzles.
By using a robot to do the work, you get all the joy of problem solving without any annoying or repetitive tasks. And since you are able to focus on the big picture you'll learn faster too.
The app encourages sponsoring a child (say 20 cents per level) to help them understand that this work is worthwhile and build the momentum that will be needed to push through hard problems.
How we built it
A team of developers have been working on this project for a couple years, and utilizes Scala, Vuejs, MongoDB, and Open Node to handle
Challenges we ran into
- how to handle the functions/subroutines for the input stream
- Integrating bitcoin and lightning payments
