Inspiration
I was inspired by the fact that there were no simple math placement tests out there, all of them were time-consuming and in the end took a lot out of you. So I set out to create a simple and easy placement test.
What it does
I’ve created a math tracker for middle schoolers that helps them easily figure out which math course is best for them. Unlike most placement tests, this tracker offers a quick and simple 10-question test that gives a clear idea of where a student stands. The test covers 4 different courses, and based on how many questions they answer correctly, students will get a recommendation for the right course. It also suggests ways to prep for the course and offers extra math opportunities. The tracker gives advice on how to get ready for the recommended course, while also offering lots of other options.

It was a pretty simple website, so I did run into many problems
Accomplishments that we're proud of
I am proud of the fact that it gives accurate recommendations
What we learned
I learned that making an effective website it not that hard if you work hard on it.
What's next for Math Tracker For Middle Schoolers
I plan making compatible for other states' curriculums
