Math Madness

Inspiration

My team and I reminisced on the time in elementary school when we used to do a challenge called "Mad Minute". We received a sheet of math problems and did them as fast as we could. Overall this experience excited and accelerated our learning in the process.

What it does

Math Madness is fun and easy to use app that allows the user to select an arithmetic operation and the number of questions associated or a mixture. We then get taken through the various math problems presented one and a time for concentration. At the end, we display the results of the session in an effort to help our users learn and better themselves.

How I built it

My team and I built it in eclipse using Java and Javafx with scene builder

Challenges I ran into

My teams main challenge was lack of app development experience. There were many simple problems that gave us hard times such as using javafx scene builder. Due to our lack of experience our problems were amplified.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

We're proud that we could overcome those little but annoying problems through hard work and resilience

What I learned

We learned various things about the app development process. Most importantly, we gained experience and knowledge of the process which will exponentially assist us in the future.
